Why The Willow Project exists

Closing the gap between knowledge and the people who need it

The Willow Project was founded to address a growing gap in mental health education. While awareness of ADHD, burnout, and psychological wellbeing has increased, access to clear, evidence-informed information remains limited.

Much of what is known through research and clinical practice never reaches the people who could benefit from it most. The Willow Project exists to make psychological knowledge more accessible, practical, and relevant to everyday life.

Through educational resources, articles, and programmes, we aim to advance mental health literacy among young adults in Singapore and Southeast Asia, particularly those navigating ADHD, executive dysfunction, burnout, and the challenges of modern adulthood.

We are an education organisation, not a clinical service. Our work sits alongside professional care rather than replacing it.

At the core

The principles that shape the work

Evidence-informed

Everything we publish is grounded in counselling research and clinical practice, and written in plain language rather than jargon.

Context over labels

We look at environment, history and demands, asking what happened, rather than what is wrong with a person.

Accessible by default

Resources are free to read, structured for varied attention and energy, and made for people who are not clinicians.
